I bore my wife.
I have been instructed to post something to my site because she, and I quote, “I’m getting bored with it.” So, here it is.Also, berry got herself a Blackhaven. Ahh sweet DynDSN. I’ve started a fad.
New wallpaper: Green basketskull. I like it.

Comments: I bore my wife.
Hello Ann! The solution for us girlfriends and wives who sometimes get bored with everyone else’s computer-rambly weblogs is to make our own. Honest, it’s fun and pretty easy too and I think it’d be interesting. _
Christian: while cleaning up this apartment (I’ve got to move out at the end of next week) I remembered I have some photos from your wedding, and some of them turned out pretty nicely. Want me to scan them and send them to you?

sweet, that would be great if you did. i’m in need of weblog fodder. _

I’m with Ann. It has been pretty boring. Almost not worth checking on anymore….

I may as well pile on, too. I concur, it’s snoresville, even though I’ve only been reading for a week. The thing is, it’s a website about the website. It’s like reading a book about constructing that same book: “The text of this book was set in a typeface called Aldus, designed by the celebrated typographer Hermann Zapf in 1952-1953…zzzzzzzzz”. Dude, GET OUT MORE! Tell us what happened Saturnday at the Rubber Robot convention! Come to think of it, I need to get out more! See ya!

Ah, it’s not so much that, dearest Ned — for example, If on a winter’s night a traveler… by Italo Calvino is a book entirely about the process of reading the book If on a winter’s night a traveler… by Italo Calvino, and it’s really wonderful.
Where Xian has gone wrong, if he has at all, is that the site is sorta inconsistent in production quality, and, in general, unfocused. Sometimes he uses curly quotes, sometimes he doesn’t. Some of his writing is really good; much of it is poorly edited or filled with typos. Plus, this is possibly the least wallpaper-intensive wallpaper site layout I’s ever seen.
But it ain’t all bad, and I worry that Xian might take quite the blow when he sees all this criticism.
After all, at Least it’s no comma, splice laden arbitrarily capitalized Rambling on webcomics, right?
Xian — struggle for focus. You’re a brilliant guy; you’ll find it.

Jah, if it’s a wall paper site, it should have more than one picture on the main page. Right now, it says “I’m a weblogger who occasionally makes a wallpaper on the side, and puts a small thumbnail of it on my website.” If you’re going to have the title “Free Desktop Wallpaper” on your site, you should look like a Free Desktop Wallpaper site.

How many Free Desktop Wallpaper Sites are there? And they really do look all the same, have established rules of how to look, how to work and advertise their wallys? Wow… and I thought your page really was very good, Xian. I so seem to have no idea how a “suitable” desktop wallpaper page should look… g I’m so lame…

Gee, a little teasing email and all the jackalhackers are out. My comments were not to be taken so gravely. My sincere apologies.
Anyway, how was the rubber robot convention? Had the rumors of the AstroBoy live-action movie starring Mini-me reached fever pitch?
