Pardon me for disappearing for so long. I have left the doors of the Mercuriosity Shop open for you to browse the old displays, but I’d like to add a new one—The Illusionist.

The Amazing Ronnie, the shamanic Ray, and I went to a marvelous old theatre last night to view this amazing movie. Beautifully acted, beautifully filmed, beautifully written—and based on a book written by one of my favorite authors Steven Millhauser, and also sporting what could only be called a haunting score by another Shop favorite Philip Glass. Of course, the ambiance of the old theatre—decorated as it was for halloween—only heightened my enjoyment of the film.

As for me, am I back for good, or will I once again vanish
