Ok, I installed redhat last weekend, and it turned out pretty good, and ran way smoother than Windows XP did on that system... when it ran. I ran into a problem when I was trying to install 3d drivers on the system and lost Xwindows, the GUI (graphic user interface). now I can only use the command screen there is just one problem. I don't know how to get to where I need to be to uninstall the 3d drivers to get Xwindows back! This is a major annoyance! I will probably end up reinstalling Linux and starting from scratch, but I don't want to do that! Any way I am having some problems along the way. The fact that I am never home anymore to fix it and when I am I should be studying. So I will continue on and keep you updated, even though you might not be interested. Sorry for the long silence. I have started the semester and am enjoying the library that WCC has. There are Ethernet connections every where! I have also started my online class and other things.

I have spent the past 3 days downloading the install disks for Red Hat. Sometime in the near future my desktop will become a Linux system!!! Metts', I know it is not a Mac, but this is free and it is cool too! I will become a skilled Linux user, because I r0x0r!!

Initial D while being a beautiful show with Car racing, 八六 (hachi roku or 86), 八五 (hachi go or 85), and a cast of pretty boys. (if you like that sort of stuff) Initial D is pretty much all about the car racing, and even though it is very exiting to watch these car races, it is only skin deep for the first chunk. It gets more interesting later.

While èX-Driver gives one more of an You are Under Arrest sort of feel to it. True it has cars in it and has racing as well, but not quite as much as one would think given that it has been descried to me as Initial D with girls instead of boys. This Anime series focuses more on the relationship aspect. When I say relationship I do not mean relationships, but the way that the characters interact with each other. èX-Driver also has far cooler cars in it. cars like the Lotus Europe, Lancia Stratos and the Super 7 (I want one). While some people think the story is "stupid" they miss the story. The story is about the way the characters handle the situations, not the situations themselves.

In conclusion, I believe that Initial D and èX-Driver are two wonderful anime series, but the only thing that they have in common is that they have cars in them and the cars do skids. I love them both and so they are both beautiful! I look forward to seeing the movie if either of them ever make it domestically or not.

I have been hooked on Quizilla.com for a few weeks now. Why you may ask, because a few people have been doing this stuff and posting the results on their blogs. Consequently it made me a little bit curious.

So,

here I am sitting alone in my apartment bringing in the new year with Koko wa Greenwood, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Japanese benkiyo, and Spiderman. This would be a down right party if it wasn't just me being the only attendee. I guess that’s what I get for expecting things to come together like they always have. Next year I will be better planned or something. That’s my new years resolution. That and the ongoing one to actually start working out and getting into shape like I have been doing for the past 4-5 years, but that one really doesn't count since it is an ongoing project and all. As I was saying So here I am... and doing pretty ok, no, I would say exceedingly ok. Just wish I could go out for a drive with out being too frightened of being hit by a drunk driver. This is my new years rant be happy as I am happy and the world would be rather depressed I guess, so maybe you should be happy, as I am not happy and have fun with your New Year guys! Party on Dude!!!
