I never realized how stubborn I really was until today. Stubbornness can be a good thing and also it could be a bad thing. Me not being willing to move back to Kansas because it would be easier if I did was a good thing. Me walking to work because I didn't want to take the Bus or get a cab is a bad thing. I stared my quest a 10:30 from WCC. 3 hours and about 10 miles later I have seen the errors in my ways. I got to work and just collapsed. If I had talked to my mom, she would have told me that it was proof that I was my Grandfathers Grandson. Apparently he was very stubborn as well. In any case I have learned my lesson, I will take the shorter route next time I walk to work from school. :)
In other news, I have officially finished Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix. It was good, especially when Harry beats the crap out of a certain person who was totally asking for it. I am still rooting for Cho to gain Harry's affections, and do not see much reason for Ginny to do so. Currently I don't see his affections going either direction. He is indifferent, but I am hoping for Cho to come out on top when Harry gets over his indifference. Go Harry!!
So, if you remember my car problems from before, here is the latest chapter in the saga. I have an engine leak. What am I leaking you may ask? The answer is Coolant. If you do remember that is the same problem, just not as extensive, as I had before. It appears to be an every 4 month sort of thing. Interesting, If you ask me, I am only glad that I have an extended warranty for this guy, or I would be in really bad shape. I am amazed at how stupid cars can be, aren't you?
This post is dedicated to Miss Andrea. :P
This was a good weekend.
Friday, I went to book store and looked at books as what has turned into a Friday night tradition recently. It was fun, it was. (I also read Harry Potter as par my Harry Potter tradition)
Saturday, I woke up read some more of Harry Potter and went and did some stuff. Then, in the evening I and Shaun and Andrea and Ken started up our Exalted Campaign, with our beautiful GM Will. So far I have sliced a lizard man in half while I was still human (Not exalted yet, which means I had no super powers while doing it.) Than was fun!!! ^_^
Sunday, I read Harry Potter, and Watched some anime and then went to go and visit the Metts', to check out the room I will be renting. That was fun to, I talked and had Ice cream and nachos (not necessarily in that order) and saw that the room is Good. There was much rejoicing.
Such a fun filled weekend, I don't know what I did to deserve so much fun. ^_^
I have been acting as a secondary receptionist at The Discovery Center (the preschool that I work at) for the past week. This basically means I route calls when they come. It was pretty boring for the first 3 days. The current receptionist is very set in her ways and was harping on me a lot. It took me all 3 days to figure out that as long as she doesn't see me, she doesn't she doesn't get mad at me. So I have been spend most of my time in the Directors office, Who doesn't care what I do. So. I have been reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. So far the number of pages that I have gotten through are 200. I roxor and love this. As long as I don't run out of reading material, I should have a very fun filled rest of the summer. ^_^
So. I am going to Spring Arbor University in 2 months. That you Know, something that you might not know is that I am going to be living with the Metts' house. I must say this is a big weight that has been lifted off my shoulders. I had no clue where I was going to live until just 2 days ago. So I don't have to live in my bug come the fall. This is cause for happiness!!!! Woot, WOOT!!! Life is looking up. ^_^
